Mere months ago huge crowds filled Center Stage in downtown Atlanta. Now, that image seems like a far off memory.

Josh Antenucci, a managing partner at the venue, said the outcome has been bleak since the venue decided to close its doors March 13 due to the coronavirus pandemic.

"We are not keeping the space afloat," he said. "We have had zero dollars in revenue."

The collapsed portion of the DuPre Excelsior Mill will be rebuilt, Doug Young, assistant director for historic preservation for the city of Atlanta Office of Design, said Monday.

The Masquerade on Saturday responded to news of the partial collapse of the DuPre Excelsior Mill, the music venue's former home of 28 years. It relocated in 2016 to the former Kenny’s Alley space in Underground following some uncertainty.
