The Prosecuting Attorneys Council of Georgia will review all records of potential child abuse in the Catholic church.

In a decision announced Wednesday, the council, which represents the state’s district attorneys and solicitor-general offices, said it will take a look at all files, documents, and reports dealing with child abuse from the Archdiocese of Atlanta and the Diocese of Savannah.

The Peabody Awards announced winners in radio and podcasting this week, among them Type Investigations and Reveal for their "Monumental Lies" episode. After filing 175 open records requests to track public spending on Confederate memorials and organizations, reporters Brian Palmer and Seth Freed Wessler found that more than $40 million in state and federal funds have been spent on the maintenance and expansion of such monuments and sites over the past decade.

CNN President Jeff Zucker said a suspicious package addressed to CNN in Atlanta was intercepted Monday morning at a post office.

FBI spokesperson Kevin Rowson said that the agency had been notified by the U.S. Postal Inspection Service of a suspicious package that arrived at a post office in downtown Atlanta. 

The FBI now says they have collected evidence in connection with a suspicious package addressed to CNN in Atlanta and has taken it to their lab for further investigation.
