Christine Blasey Ford’s claims of being sexually assaulted by Brett Kavanaugh when the two were in High School has delayed confirmation proceedings. As details continue to surface, many have drawn parallels between Kavanaugh’s confirmation hearing to that of Justice Clarence Thomas. Much like Anita Hill and Clarence Thomas in 1991, both Ford and Kavanaugh will testify publicly before the Senate Judiciary Committee early next week.
