On this edition of Political Rewind, with five days remaining in the 2019 session, the state Senate paves the way for enactment of one of the most controversial bills in modern Georgia history – the measure that would all but outlaw abortion in our state.  our panel looks at what comes next.


 

There’s a new twist to the measure calling for a state takeover of Hartsfield Jackson airport. supporters of the bill have tied the takeover to a jet fuel tax break long advocated by delta airlines.

 

And a bill that rural hospital executives say threatens the already precarious financial condition makes a surprise comeback.
