U.S. Sen. Cory Booker, South Bend, Indiana, Mayor Pete Buttigieg and former Housing and Urban Development Secretary Julian Castro will speak at the event Friday.
U.S. Senators Elizabeth Warren and Bernie Sanders will share the stage Saturday at the Georgia International Convention Center.
Atlanta-based minister Mark Moore Jr. is the founder and host of the conference.
He sat down with GPB's Leah Fleming to preview the event, and discuss the relationship between politics and the black church.
The Young Leaders Conference begins Thursday and runs through the weekend.
