The Atlanta-based Centers For Disease Control and Prevention has launched a base of operations for a nationwide investigation into illnesses from e-cigarettes.
The Emergency Operations Center for the CDC will track the outbreak and coordinate efforts among officials and health experts.
This comes after a multi-state outbreak of lung disease among people who use vaping products.

Six deaths have been confirmed nationwide in connection to the illness, and while nobody has died here in Georgia, three people have become sick and 10 other possible cases are being investigated.
Health officials recommend individuals not use e-cigarettes while investigation is active.
